El Arab Club ("we", "us", "the Club") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: name, email, company, country, phone, professional background, investment mandate, and uploaded documents. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features accessed, and interaction timestamps for platform security and improvement.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to: verify your identity, match you with relevant opportunities and members, facilitate introductions, manage your document vault, send you platform notifications, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Confidential Documents

Documents uploaded to the Document Vault are stored in access-controlled cloud storage. Documents are only accessible to you and, upon your explicit grant of permission within a Deal Room, to the specific counterparty involved in that deal. Platform administrators can access documents only for compliance and support purposes.

4. Data Sharing Within the Club

Your profile information (name, role, country, and mandate overview) is visible to other verified club members for matching purposes. Sensitive fields (phone, email, financials) are hidden until you explicitly choose to share them via concierge introduction or Deal Room. You control your visibility settings from your profile.

5. Data Security

We protect member data using HTTPS encryption in transit, authenticated access to the platform, role-based permissions for documents and deal rooms, and database row-level access controls for member records. Administrative access is limited to authorized staff for support and compliance. We review security practices regularly and update controls as the platform evolves.

6. Infrastructure & Subprocessors

We use vetted cloud hosting, authentication, database, storage, email, monitoring, and security service providers to operate El Arab Club. These providers process data only as needed to deliver the service. A current subprocessor register is maintained internally and updated when vendors change. Naming a provider category does not expose internal architecture, credentials, or security secrets.

7. Data Retention

Active member data is retained for the duration of your membership plus a reasonable period for legal compliance. Uploaded documents are retained while your account is active unless you request removal. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting our privacy team.

8. Cookies & Tracking

The platform uses essential cookies for session management and security. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics, where used, are limited to aggregated operational insight.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate information, request deletion of your data, export your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Submit requests to privacy@elarabclub.com.

10. Children

The platform is intended for business professionals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18.
