El Arab Club ("we", "us", "the Club") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
We collect information you provide directly: name, email, company, country, phone, professional background, investment mandate, and uploaded documents. We also collect first-party operational data for platform security and improvement, which may include: a pseudonymous visitor identifier, session identifier, page journey, source/referrer, campaign attribution (UTM), on-site search queries, expressed site interests, registration funnel stage, client-side errors, coarse geographical information, and browser/device information where already collected.
Your information is used to verify identity, match you with relevant opportunities and members, facilitate introductions, manage your document vault, send platform notifications, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Documents uploaded to the Document Vault are stored in access-controlled cloud storage. Documents are only accessible to you and, upon your explicit grant within a Deal Room, to the specific counterparty involved. Platform administrators can access documents only for compliance and support purposes.
Your profile information (name, role, country, mandate overview) is visible to other verified club members for matching purposes. Sensitive fields (phone, email, financials) remain hidden until you explicitly share them via concierge introduction or Deal Room.
We protect member data using HTTPS encryption in transit, authenticated access, role-based permissions for documents and deal rooms, and database row-level access controls. Administrative access is limited to authorized staff for support and compliance.
We use vetted cloud hosting, authentication, database, storage, email, monitoring, and security providers to operate El Arab Club. These providers process data only as needed to deliver the service.
Active member data is retained for the duration of your membership plus a reasonable period for legal compliance. Uploaded documents are retained while your account is active unless you request removal. You may request deletion by contacting our privacy team. Detailed retention periods for pseudonymous operational records are being formalized — contact us for current practice.
The platform uses essential cookies for session management and security. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We may use first-party operational analytics (visit paths, search activity, security events, client errors) at a pseudonymous/session level to improve the platform — not solely as "aggregated insight" where individual pseudonymous operational records are retained.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, export, and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Submit requests to privacy@elarabclub.com.
The platform is intended for business professionals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18.
